Having joined AKLC since I was P4, I can definitely say that it has benefitted me a lot. Before, I was not too confident about my grades and doubted that the centre would help me to improve. It was a big surprise for me when my grades immediately began improving because of the new method I learnt here. Much to the surprise of my parents and myself, I achieved A* for PSLE Maths, and I have been here with the centre ever since.
Lessons at AKLC helped me to improve in Maths, and it made things much easier to understand. I improved from a D to a B for PSLE Maths in 2 terms. I would recommend AKLC to all my friends!
In 2016, my Maths was at a low A. I have been trying to improve my math grades to A* and in 2017 I scored a high A for my Math. I first went to the AKLC PSLE Seminar 2017 and found that the seminar was helpful as I got to understand math better. Since then the lessons and coaching had transformed me into a clever and intelligent person. I would like to thank my math teacher, Ms Cel, as she turned math into a fun, interesting and easy subject for me. I would recommend AKLC to all my friends especially to my cousin as she is weak in math. I think her grades will improve by leaps and bounds after she joins AKLC. Overall, I think AKLC is a place where you can have fun while learning and playing and I hope that this will continue.
Before I joined AKLC, my results were either Cs or Ds. Joining AKLC at the start of Sec 3 proved to be the turning point for me. My Trainer was able to identify my weaknesses in study skills right at the start and worked on improving them step by step. With the skills I have picked up in AKLC, I am glad to have scored 8 A1s for my O level and enrolled in the Junior College of my choice.
I joined AKLC when I was at the age of 11. Before that, my Math grades were either Bs or low As. Ever since I joined AKLC, my math grades have slowly improved due to the various methods the trainers taught me. The trainers have exposed me to challenging questions too. It has helped me to think harder to attempt various methods to solve the problem sums. As a result, I got A* for my PSLE Maths and would like to thank the trainers for their guidance!
Before joining AKLC, I had problems with time management, planning and I often procrastinated. The lessons and coaching experiences helped me overcome my difficulties, improve my thinking process and understand heuristics better. I can now manage my time well and not cramp my studies last minutes. Thank you AKLC trainers for helping me to improve, and the front-desk staff too!
Before joining AKLC, I was not good in Vocabulary Cloze (English), and Rate and Speed (Maths). After joining AKLC, I learnt useful strategies that led to me to improve greatly for English, Maths and Science. I would strongly recommend a friend to join as the methods are useful and easy to understand. I would like to thank my trainers at AKLC for helping me! Thank you AKLC!
Our son, Xanthus, has been a student with AKLC since middle this year for P6 Math Classes. Mr Delli, his tutor, has been most helpful. We hear from Xanthus that his class is engaging and the techniques taught are very relevant and useful. In addition, Mr Delli employs various methods including storytelling and games to get students to be more involved in his classes. In two terms, he improved from 65 marks to scoring A* in PSLE!
I started attending AKLC when I was in Primary 6. Mr Jeffrey keeps the lesson fun and interesting which makes it easier for us to remember whatever he taught in class and I even started looking forward to his classes. The methods that he teaches us are very easy to remember as he uses funny acronyms to memorize content. Overall, Mr Jeffrey’s classes are great. I would surely continue to attend classes at AKLC!
Prior to joining AKLC, I was unable to do many questions in section C as I could not grasp those questions thoroughly and would often obtained borderline scores. All of this changed when I joined AKLC. The lessons at AKLC are engaging, fun and simple to understand. The trainers make you feel welcomed to ask questions and will gladly explain them. The lessons here has turned me into a more attentive person. Maths used to be my least favourite subject until I came to AKLC. Thank you trainers for making me look forward to coming here every week!
