Before I joined AKLC, my results were either Cs or Ds. Joining AKLC at the start of Sec 3 proved to be the turning point for me. My Trainer was able to identify my weaknesses in study skills right at the start and worked on improving them step by step. With the skills I have picked up in AKLC, I am glad to have scored 8 A1s for my O level and enrolled in the Junior College of my choice.
Before coming to AKLC, I faced many challenges in Chinese, Maths and English. At AKLC, I learned techniques in all these subjects (such as the Arrow Transfer Model), which I applied in exams and scored fairly well. I managed to score an A* for my prelims. Thank you Ms Cel, Nice and Friendly Ms Ashley and Mr Jeff (the cool bro). Thank you for teaching me.
I first joined AKLC when I entered Secondary One. Before I joined AKLC, my Chinese results were always failing. It would never improve no matter what method I used to solve the questions. After joining AKLC, my results have been improving steadily. My trainers would use other words to associate with words that I am learning. This helps me in memorising the words and their meaning. Their constant encouragement drove me on to improve my results. The trainers do not punish their students for slow in learning, in fact, they do whatever it takes to help their students!
In 2016, my Maths was at a low A. I have been trying to improve my math grades to A* and in 2017 I scored a high A for my Math. I first went to the AKLC PSLE Seminar 2017 and found that the seminar was helpful as I got to understand math better. Since then the lessons and coaching had transformed me into a clever and intelligent person. I would like to thank my math teacher, Ms Cel, as she turned math into a fun, interesting and easy subject for me. I would recommend AKLC to all my friends especially to my cousin as she is weak in math. I think her grades will improve by leaps and bounds after she joins AKLC. Overall, I think AKLC is a place where you can have fun while learning and playing and I hope that this will continue.
Lessons at AKLC helped me to improve in Maths, and it made things much easier to understand. I improved from a D to a B for PSLE Maths in 2 terms. I would recommend AKLC to all my friends!
I could not understand and write phrases in Chinese and I had not been doing well for my exams. AKLC has taught me the methods of answering questions and the lessons have made my marks jump from D to A. I would like to thank teacher Ashley because she cared for all her students and she taught us well.
My teacher, Eugene, taught me how useful the method at Adam Khoo Learning Centre is. He also taught me how to relieve stress when revising. I finally understand that it is not about practising repeatedly, it is about practising smartly! I’m glad I managed to achieve A* for PSLE Maths!
I joined AKLC when I was at the age of 11. Before that, my Math grades were either Bs or low As. Ever since I joined AKLC, my math grades have slowly improved due to the various methods the trainers taught me. The trainers have exposed me to challenging questions too. It has helped me to think harder to attempt various methods to solve the problem sums. As a result, I got A* for my PSLE Maths and would like to thank the trainers for their guidance!
Before I joined AKLC, I had difficulties answering the questions with relevant keywords and I often took a long time to solve them. Now I understand the questions a lot more and am able to answer them more confidently. I would like to thank my trainer for her dedication to our learning journey, bringing joy to our class and making everyone laugh!
My coaching experience helped me to know when or how to speak appropriately and constructively, especially to adults and even strangers. The experience has transformed me greatly - I am now more sociable and matured in my interactions - in ways that I know will put me in good stead in the future.
