In 2015, Ms Su became my Maths trainer, and she ignited a spark in my heart and made a space in there for Mathematics. It feels awesome to have someone to believe in you. I really treasure her as my trainer! I like the fact that trainers will provide tutorials and examples to guide us first before we attempt the questions. I’m thankful that I managed to score an A for PSLE Maths.
In 2016, my Maths was at a low A. I have been trying to improve my math grades to A* and in 2017 I scored a high A for my Math. I first went to the AKLC PSLE Seminar 2017 and found that the seminar was helpful as I got to understand math better. Since then the lessons and coaching had transformed me into a clever and intelligent person. I would like to thank my math teacher, Ms Cel, as she turned math into a fun, interesting and easy subject for me. I would recommend AKLC to all my friends especially to my cousin as she is weak in math. I think her grades will improve by leaps and bounds after she joins AKLC. Overall, I think AKLC is a place where you can have fun while learning and playing and I hope that this will continue.
I love the way teachers are approachable, and the fact that they feature easier methods which I can really relate to. I used to fear Maths, but now I am more confident and was able to improve my grades from a borderline pass to an A. For English, I have improved from a borderline pass to a B. My next goal is to get A* for all my subjects. Thank you AKLC for these wonderful teachers.
Lessons at AKLC helped me to improve in Maths, and it made things much easier to understand. I improved from a D to a B for PSLE Maths in 2 terms. I would recommend AKLC to all my friends!
I enjoy learning here at AKLC. Whatever magic spell AKLC cast on me definitely worked and it helped me to grasp concepts I could not understand before. I would recommend AKLC to my friends who have difficulty understanding some methods poorly explained by your Maths teacher at school as Maths would be made easier here!
We were very concerned when his P5 Math results were mediocre. Fortunately, a relative recommended AKLC to us. The staff were friendly and always avail themselves to enquires we had on Daniel’s progress and we were given periodic reports on his progress. Both his teachers were exceptional in providing a conducive and encouraging environment for Daniel. We were elated when he received an “A” for PSLE Maths!
My coaching experience helped me to know when or how to speak appropriately and constructively, especially to adults and even strangers. The experience has transformed me greatly - I am now more sociable and matured in my interactions - in ways that I know will put me in good stead in the future.
I joined AKLC in 2015 when I was in P5. I was introduced to many ATM methods such as ACL, Multiple Model, Equivalent Fractions and many more. Ever since I learnt these methods, I don’t have problems solving questions anymore. During prelims, I improved by an astonishing 12.5 marks, and I got A* for PSLE Maths. The trainers motivated me with constant constructive feedback and are mindful of our welfare as well. Thank you AKLC!
One of the greatest things about the class was that the class was a small group where you could be yourself and not be afraid to ask and share. I feel welcomed and supported. I really enjoy my time here. The atmosphere is loving and encouraging.
I joined AKLC when I was in P1. I am able to use the ATM method to answer those questions in school that were difficult to solve. I’ve consistently scored 90+ for Maths and was awarded the Mathematician Award in school. The trainers at AKLC are friendly, approachable, enthusiastic, and they helped to sustain my interest and motivation to do well in Maths. They have gone beyond the standard materials during lessons and challenged me to do even more.
