I joined AKLC when I was in P1. I am able to use the ATM method to answer those questions in school that were difficult to solve. I’ve consistently scored 90+ for Maths and was awarded the Mathematician Award in school. The trainers at AKLC are friendly, approachable, enthusiastic, and they helped to sustain my interest and motivation to do well in Maths. They have gone beyond the standard materials during lessons and challenged me to do even more.
I joined AKLC somewhere in the middle of 2017 for E Math and A Math tuition as I was not doing very well in those subjects, I barely passed those two subjects throughout my upper secondary years. After joining AKLC and attending the lessons regularly, my understanding of both A and E Math improved drastically, and so did my grades in those subjects. The instructors, Julia and Eugene, were friendly and patient and even helped me understand how to tackle tough math problems that seemed impossible at first. I managed to score A1 for both A and E Maths during the O Levels Exam with the help of AKLC and I definitely do not regret attending Math tuition at AKLC.
Before coming to class, I always fail to understand the questions. After joining AKLC, I am now able to understand and answer the questions! I learnt the Arrow Transfer Model (ATM) method which helped me improve drastically. I really like class as they help to turn a normal lesson into an interactive and enjoyment-filled class! My friends, I truly recommend you to join this class to save time for all exams!
I joined AKLC in 2017. AKLC has helped my understanding of all the subjects, English, Maths, Science and Chinese. Thanks to the different strategies taught here, my scores for all 4 subjects improved to an A and A* for my PSLE! I would strongly encourage my friends to join AKLC.
I started attending AKLC when I was in Primary 6. Mr Jeffrey keeps the lesson fun and interesting which makes it easier for us to remember whatever he taught in class and I even started looking forward to his classes. The methods that he teaches us are very easy to remember as he uses funny acronyms to memorize content. Overall, Mr Jeffrey’s classes are great. I would surely continue to attend classes at AKLC!
I joined AKLC in 2015 when I was in P5. I was introduced to many ATM methods such as ACL, Multiple Model, Equivalent Fractions and many more. Ever since I learnt these methods, I don’t have problems solving questions anymore. During prelims, I improved by an astonishing 12.5 marks, and I got A* for PSLE Maths. The trainers motivated me with constant constructive feedback and are mindful of our welfare as well. Thank you AKLC!
I love the way teachers are approachable, and the fact that they feature easier methods which I can really relate to. I used to fear Maths, but now I am more confident and was able to improve my grades from a borderline pass to an A. For English, I have improved from a borderline pass to a B. My next goal is to get A* for all my subjects. Thank you AKLC for these wonderful teachers.
In 2015, Ms Su became my Maths trainer, and she ignited a spark in my heart and made a space in there for Mathematics. It feels awesome to have someone to believe in you. I really treasure her as my trainer! I like the fact that trainers will provide tutorials and examples to guide us first before we attempt the questions. I’m thankful that I managed to score an A for PSLE Maths.
I enjoy learning here at AKLC. Whatever magic spell AKLC cast on me definitely worked and it helped me to grasp concepts I could not understand before. I would recommend AKLC to my friends who have difficulty understanding some methods poorly explained by your Maths teacher at school as Maths would be made easier here!
Having joined AKLC since I was P4, I can definitely say that it has benefitted me a lot. Before, I was not too confident about my grades and doubted that the centre would help me to improve. It was a big surprise for me when my grades immediately began improving because of the new method I learnt here. Much to the surprise of my parents and myself, I achieved A* for PSLE Maths, and I have been here with the centre ever since.
